Easy Green Bean Casserole – Freezer Meal

Green Bean Casseroles are not only delicious, but easy too! They can even be made ahead of time and popped in the freezer.


3 cans cut green beans
2 cups French fried onions
2 cans cream of mushroom
1/2 cup milk

Mix green beans, cream of mushroom, milk and 1 cup French fried onions in an oven safe bowl
Top with the remaining cup of onions
If freezing seal the container and place into freezer
To bake immediately, bake in a 350* oven until the center is bubbling - approximately 20-40 minutes


Tip: To make a hearty green bean casserole entree, add a pound of cooked ground beef to the mixture and increase the cream of mushroom by 1 can.

    I was wondering how this turned out using canned green beans?? Most recipes for freezing green bean casserole say to use frozen or fresh green beans. I just made some using canned and put it in the freezer and I was just wondering how it will turn out when I take it out later and bake it?
