Broccoli and Cheese Soup – Crockpot Recipe

It’s no lie that Broccoli is my favorite vegetable. Its pretty versatile and great no matter which way it is cooked whether that be roasted, steamed, or even raw. Pair it with some cheese and you have a savory vegetable that makes it even more delicious.

Broccoli and Cheese Soup – Crockpot Recipe

1 small onion, chopped
1 package (12 to 20oz) frozen broccoli
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup grated cheese
2 soup cans milk

Sautee onion in oil in a skillet until slightly browned.
Drain the oil and add all ingredients to crockpot, mixing well
Cover and cook low 2-4 hours.

You can leave the onions out if you like, but I find the distinct flavor the sautéed onion gives the soup is what really makes it delicious.

Serve with warm bread, or if you are creative, serve inside a bread bowl.
