Candied Carrots – Recipe

Sometimes we just have to turn our tasty, healthy vegetables into something that the sweet tooth will enjoy.


Candied Carrots – Recipe

1 can carrots
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 - 3/4 cup marshmallows
*Optional Chopped Pecans

Drain 90% of the juice from the carrots and pour into a sauce pan with the butter and brown sugar.
Cover and heat on low until all of the butter and brown sugar is melted and mixed well.
Top with marshmallows and continue to heat on low until the marshmallows have melted.
Mix well and serve warm.
Top with chopped pecans if desired
