The crushed chips on top of this casserole is the “icing on the cake” for this recipe. This is the best chicken pot pie recipe that I have ever made. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
1 can cream chicken
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
3 1/2 cup hash brown
2 1/2 cup shredded cheese
1 1/2 cup potato chips
Mix chicken, sour cream, cream chicken, milk, and half of the cheese
In separate bowl, mix hash browns, onions and other half of cheese.
Spread bottom of pan with hash brown, onion and cheese mixture
Add the chicken mixture to top
Bake at 350* for approximately 1 hour
Top with crushed potato chips and bake 5-10 min longer
