This is the only recipe I use for these Peanut Butter Chocolate Oatmeal - No-Bake cookies.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup cocoa
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 cups quick oats
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except for the oats in a pan and heat on the stove until boiling. Stir frequently. When mixture reaches a boil add in the oats and continue to stir. I prefer my cookies gooey and chewy so when they come to a boil I cook the mixture for about 1 minute then promptly remove from heat and spoon cookie sized portions onto a prepared surface (I normally use wax paper or just plain ole’ cookie sheets)
TIP: If you need to transport these cookies for serving elsewhere you can stack them on small squares of wax paper once they have cooled or pour the still hot mixture into a pie pan and “slice” cookies like a pie once cool.
